| Introduction | The Berkshire Conservation District serves Berkshire County, MA in its mission to conserve natural resources in alliance with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and other partner agencies and organizations. Authorized by State Statute, the conservation district was created to coordinate state and federal conservation programs at the local level. Berkshire Conservation District is a tax-exempt organization solely funded by private donations, grant funds, and the proceeds from plant sales and the sale of educational materials.
