| Introduction | 2018 With 3 girls in college and our son on a mission in the Philippines, we have hit the road. Scott is working as a travel nurse and we hope to see as much of the country as possible before we decide where to settle down. 2007 Our family theme song for this last year was, "Taking the Long Way". We have been on an adventure our whole married 16 years. First when Scott was in the military and we moved back and forth across the country. Then we moved the kids around for Scott to go back to school and get a second B.S. degree. Then when we packed up our car with the kids, dog and a few things and moved to Cape Cod for a year. Now we have decided to settle down, for a little while at least, in the beautiful little town of Mapleton. We all love it, but definitely feel like we have had one adventure after another. But hey, we have great friends all over the country. And our kids are extremely well adjusted and confident around new people. Now we are living the simple life, with 2 dogs, 2 turtles, 1 cat, 2 horses and a few fish. We even had a garden this year! Just call us "country folk" now. |
