Introduction	My first memories of wine were when I was vary young riding on the back of my Italian grandfathers tractor on the foothills in Los Gatos. He examined the vines as we crawled up the slopping hill. I admired his passion and love of the grapevines he slowly nurtured. He stopped the tractor and we walked down to the wine cellar below the house. He pulled out a dark green glass bottle in the sand. There was no label on the wine and it was cool to the touch. He opened the bottle with an Italian wine opener, poured it into a wine glass, and let me take in the beautiful aroma. The passion and love of making wine in the old world style sparkled in his eyes. I admired him and my love of wine has never parted from me over the years. My strong desire to learn more about wine started while working for gourmet markets in the Bay Area. I became a wine consultant for Draeger Market and tasted premium wines from around the world and develop an appreciation to the beauty of each region. My wine education continued while working for The Wine Connection, Vino100, Bevmo, & RL Liquid Assets, Inc.; where I continue to experience some amazing wines. Wine is an exciting journey!
