Introduction	It's funny the twists and turns life takes and how just one incident can change your whole persepective. About 30 years ago, I was travelling on a plane from Sydney to South America. They served dinner, a very thick filet mignon. I cut the meat and blood oozed out, not good, I decided not to eat it. The guy who was sitting next to me asked if I wanted it, I said "no". I gave it to him. He sure ate that steak, the bloody juices were running down his chin and then he smiled at me, with the sheer pleasure of a carnivore. It was at this point that I realised what eating meat actually was and it was then that I chose not to no longer partake in the practice. I am grateful to that guy on the plane for enabling me to have this awareness. Namaste.
