| Introduction | Hi, I'm classicsandcontemporaries! I'm a sixteen-year-old British girl and was born in England. I am passionate about reading, but reading has never been quite enough for me - I've always enjoyed reflecting, analysing and forming opinions about books once I've finished reading them. I like reading a variety of critics views on texts, and am hoping to improve my critical writing skills! Often, I feel inspired to learn more about the time period in which some books were written (being a bit of a history geek on the quiet!), and am particularly fascinated by anything written in the Georgian era of British history. With my blog, I hope to encourage more teenagers like myself to pick up some classics after perhaps being drawn to my blog for my contemporary book reviews, and develop their love and appreciation of English Literature! Also, I plan to blog about school (GCSE advice, A Levels etc.), and perhaps the odd random post here and there. I take requests for book reviews or anything else you would like to see!
