| Introduction | The Misfits is a theatre making company based in Bristol led by people with learning difficulties. Our core mission is to improve the life opportunities and aspirations of people with learning difficulties and to challenge discrimination in society so that our members are valued and respected on an equal basis to others. We base our work on our everyday lives and look at issues that effect us and the people we know. Through our theatre we want to get across how we feel about our lives, to give ourselves and others a voice and help the audiences understand our life experiences. |
