| Introduction | Professional photographer since 1985, I specialize in real estate photography now, but have experience in almost all facets of photography. My 2008 Iraq trip was my second independent embed assignment in Iraq. My book, "The Magnificent Bastards in Ramadi and A Father's Journey There" was published on 19 Mar 2024. It is about the 2004 Battle of Ramadi in 46 Marines' and Corpsmen's own words, Gold Star parent interviews describe five of the fallen heroes, and my 2007 and 2008 military embeds in Iraq with Gold Star father John Wroblewski. Forty-six Marines and Corpsmen of 2nd Battalion 4th Marines describe their combat experiences and remembrances via my interviews with them. All profits will be used to establish a scholarship fund for the survivors of the 34 men of 2/4 KIA during the 2004 Ramadi deployment. The book can be purchased on Amazon. |
