Introduction	I am a native of Southern California and have taught writing for 3 decades, most recently with Sara and Liz at Around the Block. My novella, Flashcards, won the Pirate's Alley Faulkner Prize for Fiction, and my work has been published in anthologies and literary magazines. In June 2010, a novella excerpt of mine will appear in When Last on the Mountain: The View from Writers over 50. I'm currently at work on said novella and a children's novel.
