Introduction	I am a miniaturist, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, aunt, artist and gardener. I love sewing, rug hooking, painting, soldering, knitting, creating. Have I missed anything because I love it all? Oh yes, I do not like to cross stitch, yet I truly enjoy embroidery. Go figure! My affair with miniature making has allowed me to live my entire life as a self-supported artist. I call it an affair as my heart is truly devoted to my husband of 38+ years who is an artist as well. Together we create designerly kits for miniature makers to assemble and enjoy. Shawn, my husband, partner, and best friend is a laser artist as well as the packer, shipper, invoice maker and phone answerer. In addition to the miniature work, I also paint and design art for uses in commercial licensing. I have designs licensed for fabrics, paper products, ceramics, greeting cards, rugs, needlework kits, candles, frames, and prints. We live in a century old house in a small city. My heart lives on a rural farm. The compromise is to live a farming life in the city. We have three egg laying chickens, grow lots of our own food including greens in the winter and raspberries and blueberries in the summer.
