| Introduction | My initial foray into the unknown world of photography occurred when I was about 8 years of age. It was with a camera my godfather lent me. The first roll of film was devoted entirely to pictures of clouds!! They had long fascinated me and I tried to capture that on film. With 12 I acquired my first Minolta camera, which I still have to this day and still enjoy using. Now I’m a proud mother of three beautiful daughters, who invariably remain one of my favourite subjects in addition to the Frangipani flower! I’m originally from Switzerland and first arrived in Sydney in 1995. I returned to Australia in 2000 with my Australian born husband Mark, whom I had met on that first trip back in 95. I love photographing babies, kids, pregnant woman and flowers, all of which it seems to me, embody the notion of hope, growth and blossoming beauty. I have also taken photos for CD covers, such as “You don’t know me” by the incredibly talented LA based Australian singer Dannielle Gaha. I have also been privileged to photographically capture the career of another amazing Australian singer Mr. Percival. |
