Introduction	Girish Nikam has been a Journalist for the last 24 years, having reported for various prestigious Indian English language publications like the The Indian Express, India Today, Newstime, The Times, Deccan Chronicle, Vijay Times and having written for publications like The Week, National Review, Gulf News, Outlook(hindi) among others. He has also appeared on various TV channels as an expert on political issues. He has a M.A. (Social Sciences) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Bombay and a B.A. in Journalism, Criminology and Economics from Mysore University. He is based in New Delhi, since 1995. He is now a freelance columnist and also reports regularly for Vijay Times, Bangalore. He is also a Professor, teaching Reporting/Current Affairs at the Jagran Institute of Mass Communication (JIMMC), Noida.
