Introduction	I'm a full time mom with an out of control hobby! I am the creator of the 101 Things cookbook series. I've authored or co-authored 16 cookbooks. On a personal note, I have a hard time paying full price for anything. While my husband was working on his PhD, we survived on a minimal food budget. When we had our first baby, my food budget was $125 plus the milk and cereal we received from WIC. We were married 6+ years before my husband started working outside of the university. Frugal became my middle name out of necessity. I started teaching cooking classes at a local grocery store. Every time I taught a class they would give me a $25 gift certificate to their store. By the time we left, I was teaching about 4 classes a month which almost doubled my food budget. People coming to my classes begged me to put my recipes in a book. Thus, the series was born.
