| Introduction | My name is Heather and I have been working in health care for the past 10 years and I’m ready for a change. My parents are former teachers and my sister is currently a middle school teacher – I guess it’s in the blood. My pride and joy is without a doubt my family! I am married and have 2 little boys. Luckily we are all into sports and we enjoy our, “active” life. They put up with my evening workouts and my early morning Saturday triathlons, so I couldn’t ask for more. I consider myself a moderately progressive mom, however, there is no greater feeling than when I have a good balanced dinner on the table, the house is tidy and the ironing is caught up! On a completely different scale another good feeling is being successful at work, having adequate savings and squeezing my workouts in! I guess my parents taught me to be versatile. We are really blessed to have family to visit in California (Disneyland), Texas, Connecticut, Japan, Keizer and Salem. We are thinking a lot about our family in Texas as my brother is leaving his wife, Teri and boys, Chris and Matt, to serve in Iraq. Be safe FMH – see you in a year! |
