| Introduction | This blog was created by Amanda and Marie, two licensed therapists, when they realized work was interfering with friendship and creativity. Amanda is a fun loving, devoted wife that cares deeply about her family and faith. Although not a parent, one of her greatest joys is being an aunt and counseling children. When around other adults Amanda loves to share a good meal. Creativity shines through when Amanda is alone and comes in the form of rearranging furniture and painting. Marie is free spirited, talkative and passionate about life. She is anticipating her upcoming nuptials to her fiancé and learning how to be a safe scuba diver. Marie is a former collegiate basketball player that has traded in her sneakers for a yoga mat and a fishing pole. When she isn’t caring for 13 chickens she explores her crafty ideas all while maintaining her lifelong love of cooking, eating and entertaining. Besides being good friends and colleagues, these two have formed a special relationship after being diagnosed with endometriosis. This has fostered a life-long journey through nutrition and wellness. Being from the Outer Banks, Amanda and Marie love anything having to do with the beach. |
