| Introduction | I am definitely getting older every minute and was particularly reminded of it as I became a caregiver to my two wonderful but aging parents. I am excited to write about aging and probably about a million other things as well including life-long interests in good eating, resourcing locally, shopping in mom-and-pop places, reading, gardening, walking, parenting, education, politics, community, genealogy, travel, and eating out, in and everywhere. I've been a researcher, restaurant critic, educational consultant, teacher, travel writer, and best of all-I am a mom. I've had one book published by a major publisher and have self-published another one. I look forward to talking about aging and other subjects with readers of this blog. |
