Introduction	So, I'm sitting in the chair at the hairdresser and I look down at my jeans and I see beautiful splashes of paint. On MY jeans. Oh my, oh my. I think I am an artist! For years I have been drawing, doodling, even sustaining occasional bouts of crafting and dismissing my efforts as 'interesting messes'. Then one day, I complained to an accomplished artist friend that I couldn't draw. She picked up the piece I'd been working on and said, "Of course you can draw. You draw like this." And now I am wearing paint spattered jeans in public. It feels good to be an artist. I'm ready, lets go.
Interests	Kids, grandkids, dogs, reading, writing, mixed media art, altering and making books, art journaling
Favorite movies	Sweet and Low Down, As Good As It Gets, A Passage to India.
Favorite music	Acoustic, Soft Jazz, Folk, Country, and Old Time Rock and Roll
Favorite books	I enjoy books by Stephen King and John Irving, Steinbeck, and Latin American authors. But basically, I enjoy words on a page.
