| Introduction | Danielle Futselaar studied at the Graphic Lyceum in Rotterdam and at the Rotterdam University for Applied Sciences. Since 2001 she is an independent designer and illustrator, and has illustrated many children's books. Since 2011 she regularly worked for NASA, the SETI Institute, SETI Berkeley - Breakthrough Listen, MIT, ASTRON, MPIfR and various others. As a consequence, her work is published in media as Nature, American Scientist, National Geographic, Washington Post and New York Times. Her work was also used as cover-art for Nature, Nature Astronomy, Sterne und Weltraum and American Scientist. She wrote and illustrated the children's book The Universe and Het Geheime Heelal. |
