| Introduction | I am using the blog for my SCA persona, Alienor Hathaway. I currently reside in the East Kingdom, Shire of Panthervale (Central VT). My persona is from Barnesdale in Yorkshire. In addition to songs, plays and poetry I may also include research notes from past, present or future projects. I love historical research, especially the history of marginalized groups. More recent projects include baking and learning about the oral histories of the First Americans that Europeans encountered at Jamestown. Alienor Hathaway is currently living in 1558, the daughter of a cadet branch who rose to baronage due to an outbreak of the sweat illness that took the whole remaining senior line. Her mother was her grandfather's ward and was from France. I also often wear 12th Century French. My modern hobbies includes immersing myself in my latest interests. I like to read and sing. I write poetry and some short stories as Alienor and under my real name. |
