| Introduction | MuttNation is a family owned company, and with our five CEO's (Harry, Claudette, Percy, Agnes and Brandy) "corporate" meetings are always interesting, once we get the fanny-sniffing business out of the way. There are a few humans involved as well: Kristin and John Hornburg, their two wonderful daughters, Kate and Polly and their husbands, Brad and Duane, plus two happy grandchildren, Todd and Lauren. We share an enormous love for all things dog, and to that end, we have created MuttNation. To folks who have never had a dog, or are currently without a dog, we ask you to remember the millions of dogs who find themselves, through no fault of their own, locked away in shelters. They just need a chance. They look to us to let them into our hearts and our homes. Please remember that a dog will give you love without question, an unconditional love. In turn, you will find that the love you give a dog will open your heart in a pure and joyful way. Having a dog in your life is truly enriching. We welcome any suggestions or ideas you might have about how to improve the lives of dogs. We greatly appreciate your concern and assistance. |
| Interests | It's simple, really: to create a "place" for Mutts (though pedigreed dogs are certainly welcome). We call this place MuttNation, and its where "Mutts Rule." While "mutt" is a good word at MuttNation, we think every dog needs an identity. Its knowing what to call yourself, and understanding where you might have come from. It "completes" you, don't you think? You'll never again be called "just" a mutt, because now you're a mutt with an identity. And a purpose. You probably know that millions of dogs are locked away in shelters, waiting for that special mom or dad to come along. They look to us to let them into our hearts and our homes. It's a proven fact that every time one of us humans loves a dog, our blood pressure drops. As if the love from a dog, truly unconditional, isn't enough. You open our hearts, literally. In return, we can do something about our friends who just need a chance. Everytime you purchase one of our MuttNation products, 70% of its net profits will go to making a shelter dog's life better and longer, so maybe he will get his chance. This is our mission - yours and ours. Now you're a mutt helping other mutts. We have a lot of fun at the MuttNation "Headquarters" (located somewhere in Dogpatch, U.S.A.), creating and bringing our products to you, but at the end of the day we know that saving dogs lives is serious business. We also think dogs are funny. They can't help themselves. They can't help themselves...that's why we created MuttNation. So, thank you, on behalf of our MuttNation family, and especially on behalf of all the dogs who can't represent themselves. And they say you're just a mutt...
