I've got plenty of friends virtual and real life. However in the virtual world I can not exert sufficient control over who sees (or monitors) my activities. I have seen, first hand, the kind of antagonism that small minded and petty souled individuals on the internet direct towards others. These people have no shame, no honor, and little decency in them and, with net-anonymity, they are ceaseless. That is why I choose, with extreme care, people who know me, know my family, and know my address. |
