| Introduction | I have been involved with Longstreet's Corps since October, 1986. I started as a Private, then a Corporal in the 18th Va. Inf'y, Company B. From there I helped found the 28th Va. Inf'y, Company C, as First Sergeant. I served as second-in-command for the 28th, as 2nd, then 1st Lieutenant, before rising to the Captaincy, which I held until April, 2005. Since then I have been Chief-of-Staff of 2nd Battalion in Longstreet's Corps, until February of this year, when I assumed the same post for the Corps. I am a middle school social studies teacher, since 1984, with no plans to retire. It was my good fortune to participate in Gods and Generals, in 2002. I am also a life-long Chicago Cubs fan, and formerly an athletic trainer and advance scout in the California Angels baseball system. |
