Introduction Six Months, Blog I am writing about the six months before I enter my third life stage. I think this is a look at my life and how to go forward into change and the questions that will bring. I have lived an arts kind of life and raised a family , lets say in some area my life has been enriched by the arts and by a life interest in learning. Like most people and woman I have to learn how to look after myself and rediscover who I am. Before the next era.///// Once Bitten honouring past living now. I listened to my Father talk of his life. His early life, his work then the great depression to the years he spent as a soldier in WWII. His stories opened my eyes to knowledge beyond my years and a desire to study history. First it was theTudor's, then WWI & II to make sense of conflict. I read biographies to cross reference information. Eventually I learned European and American and of course Canadian history. It never fails to capture my imagination. Only regret to not have become a history teacher.
Interests History, Reading biography and history. I am political in interested in the fare treatment of people. I have an interest in children's welfare and education of young people. I enjoy travel and have spent time int he UK when I was young. I have recently travelled to Australia. I also want to see more of Canada.
Favorite Movies I love the film Out of Africa, and also the films about Elizabeth I. I also love arts film and European film. I am a Drama enthusiast and love British Drama series, particularly mystery. I have studied Radio and Television arts. My knowledge of film and TV Drama is more than most people as I known people who act and work in the film and television industry.
Favorite Music I am a music lover. I think my favourite besides rock and blues, is classical and choral music. I also like what is called light jazz.
Favorite Books ' What Jackie taught us'. about Jackie O. Kennedy. Helen Forrester, 'Two Pence to Cross the Mersey.' 'Road from the Coorain', Jill Ker Conway 'South Riding, ' Winifred Holtby 'Testament of a Generation, ' Vera Brittain '1939 The Last Season, ' Anne De Courcy 'A Spirit Undaunted' the Political Royal of George VI.
