Introduction I have also sewn for many years, in 2004 I made my first quilt for my Art GCSE at high school, I had been to several quilting shows with my Mum and had found that we shared a passion. Over the last six years quilting has taken over my life, in 2007-2008 I studied at Blackpool and the Fylde College on the Art Foundation Course for which i made the quilt in the picture below entitled 'Me, Ste and an Acorn Tree' I entered it into the Art quilt category at the Great northern Quilt Show, Harrogate in 2008. It won 1st prize and was awarded a Judges Choice from Jane Rollason. I have graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in embroidery and now work full time running the Long Arm quilting.
