About me

Introduction I've been in the education profession many years, but I've been teaching since I was in elementary school beginning with my brother! Education was not my first career - I traveled much with my previous career, but enjoyed teaching others how to do/understand things. After volunteering to assist in a teaching situation - I was caught! Here I am in this current place for 17 years! :)
Interests I enjoy being a teacher - it is not a profession-it is who I am as a person. We educate the WHOLE child by helping them choose to become humans who are self motivated - making decisions intrinsicaly v. extrinsically- developing perseverence, resiliance, learning to live life with grit and a growth mindset. MY interests are: Reading, teaching, and learning! I enjoy learning things - all types of things!
