| Introduction | I am from Bangalore, India currently living in Markham, Ontario, Canada . I am married to Venkatesh Prasad (Not the cricket star) who is also from Bangalore. Both work in the IT field of Banking industry. He is the only son to his parents, Sitaramachar and Mythily who stay in Sanjaynagar, Bangalore. I am the oldest of 3 children to my parents, Gopalakrishna and Bhargavi I am very fond of cooking right since my childhood, my dad used to assist me in trying out some new recipes I used to pick up from Women's Era etc. I started cooking at the age of 10. (I had to!) the traditional South Indian Iyengar style cooking which gradually began to grow into interest in making variations with the original recipe. My dad encouraged me in every step of my life. I have a younger brother, Ramprasad who is a IC CHIP design engineer. He lives with his 2 beautiful daughters and his wife in Boston. I have a younger sister, Sushma who lives in Omaha Nebraska. She lives with husband and two sons. I am happy to share all my recipes (collected and created) so that all can enjoy. |
