| Introduction | I'm a spiritual "mutt" with an array of religious heritage. Through the witness of a friend's changed life, I saw the love of Jesus Christ and the authority of God's Word. I married that friend and have loved him through all of life's ups and downs. In the early years, Roy was a high school teacher and coach, and I was a full-time wife and mom. When he was called to seminary, I worked and he became Mr. Mom, who conquered Mt. Laundry between exams and sleepless nights. Then came fourteen amazing years of ministry. It was beautiful, sometimes painful, and the very best path we could have taken. Roy now teaches at Multnomah Bible College, and I speak and write as the Lord opens doors for ministry. Our daughters are growing into beautiful young women, making important life choices with God's guidance. We're enjoying friends and family from our present life and past. Troubles? Challenges? Sorrow? Yep, everyday. Every moment if I think about it. But I don't. I won't. I think of Him. The Sustainer. The Redeemer. My Rock. My Deliverer. My Physician. My Bridegroom. |
