Industry Accounting

Introduction I’m working in an accountancy practice. In London. I want to be a teacher. In Japan. I set this blog up to chart my journey from A to B. A place to show anyone who might be interested what I’ve got up to in order to pave the way, and a project to attach myself to so as to help keep my morale and momentum chugging along. The first steps on any journey are often the hardest, and so are the first words. These are no exception. So much lies before me, so many questions: Will I get to the right place? Will I get there at all? Can I learn the language, including the ferociously difficult kanji script? Will I make it as a teacher, and be able to adapt to life in a classroom? Will I make new friends, fit in, and be able to find a good, balanced way of living out there? So, so many questions, and so much to learn along the way. I hope you enjoy following me along some of the way. ACL, July 2011
