| Introduction | Born to travel and write. A bonus was meeting Brenda Hill in the 80s. They co-authored Our Love Affairs with Food & Travel, Cooking Secrets the Why and How,and $uccess, Your Path to a Successful Book released 08.For 4 years, she was a broadcaster for Time Warner Cable with a TV show.She is on a Speaker’s Bureau, and conducts frequent workshops and seminars. She and her husband Norm edit books and write articles together. Maralyn says, “Brenda and I writing in tandem is like Planes,Trains, & Automobiles, plus faxes, e-mails, and lengthy telephone calls. We are always on to new adventures and keep looking to the future. We enjoy assisting and motivating others on their writing path. Maralyn is President and Conf. and Press Trip Co-Chair. for the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association. She lives by saying, “What’s good about it?” After earning her Masters degree from Univ. of Mass. in 1990, she sold the adv. and sales promotion business. Her focus was now on consulting, training, writing, and travel. Since, she spent 15 years in the Carolinas and moved to Arizona in 2006. Maralyn and Brenda also are food judges. |
