| Introduction | Buying a Nikon doesn't make you a photographer. It makes you a Nikon owner. ~Author Unknown~ This quote made me laugh. I don't know if I'll ever feel comfortable with the title "Professional Photographer". At what point are you considered a professional? There are so many variables in the world of photography, light, focus, timing, oh and the subject which is the most unpredictable of all! Well, some days I feel like a "professional" other days I feel like a "Nikon owner". My favorite part of what I do is the editing. I love to use my skills as an artist and my crazy compulsion to make things "picture perfect" to create the best image possible. I know that the little things that I fix would most likely not even be noticed if left untouched, but I have to fix it. The night before a shoot, I lie awake thinking of all of the shots I want to get. When I get done with a shoot I can hardly wait to get home and download the treasures that my memory card holds. To sum things up...I LOVE MY JOB! |
