| Introduction | Math opens doors. Everybody plays baseball, you know? So you have to be really good to have very many big opportunities. But math, math is less popular. Anybody can do math contests, and if you are any good, it leads to exciting things fast. I was just in Las Vegas for three days with the top high school mathematicians in the west, and it was amazing. Math people are cool people. But there are, of course, other cool people. I am on the verge of leaving the cool people in Colorado, which makes me a little sad. I applied to Phillips Exeter Academy earlier this year, and got accepted with a gigantic scholarship. So in the fall, I am off to New Hampshire! Yeah, it is more than a little terrifying. But Exeter is pretty much an amazing place, and I think it's time for a new direction. It also helps that I am very fond of airplanes:-) I'll put a link to the school website below. |

When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
Have you ever seen that Seinfeld episode where Kramer nearly makes the plane go down because he has water in his ear and keeps pounding his head?
