Introduction Eric Seddon is a clarinetist, composer, music historian, and writer living in Cleveland. As bandleader of Eric Seddon's Hot Club, he is dedicated to performing Trad Jazz repertoire 'from Bechet to Today.' His writing has appeared in the New York Quarterly, the New Oxford Review, First Things, and many other journals and newspapers. From 2016-2018, he served as 'In Tune' columnist for the EARLYJAS Rag. Eric has performed classical, jazz, and pop repertoire with Grammy Winning performers as diverse as Steve Allen, the Emerson String Quartet, the Moody Blues, and Doc Severinsen. He is author of the award winning Jazz Clarinet blog.
