| Introduction | The Green Thumbs - located at 1010 South Washington Street in Forrest City Arkansas - is owned and operated by the St. Francis Area Developmental Center in Forrest City, Arkansas. It was created as a means of providing job opportunities for developmentally disabled adults, and was established in 1993 by the late Linda Dundas. The Green Thumbs is open seasonally - in the Spring from the first of April through Memorial Day Weekend; in the Fall from mid-September through October 31; and in the Winter from the Monday following Thanksgiving through the week prior to Christmas. |
