| Introduction | Apart from academics she is also closely associated with the industry. Recently, she produced a Marathi feature film ‘Barayan’ along with few other short films. She has also executed research projects for corporates and NGOs. Earlier she was working as a faculty member in the Department of Communication & Journalism, University of Pune. Before joining academia, she had worked in the field of Brand Communication, Marketing & Public Relations. She started her career as a marketing professional and then got into brand management consultancy, Public Relations and Corporate communication. She has completed her Masters in Communication & Journalism and Diploma in Journalism, University of Pune. Currently she is pursuing PhD. Her area of study is loss of content and context in the process of advertisement translation and its effect on monolingual and bi-lingual audiences. Has presented research papers in many national and international conferences and also invited on the editorial board/reviewer board of some of the reputed national and international journals from USA, UK, Pakistan and India. |
