| Introduction | Hi! My name is Patrice am the creator behind this blog. I am the mommy to a beautiful little girl named Paisley and together we have begun this beautiful journey of life which has been nothing short of amazing. Along with being a full-time single mom I also work a full-time job. I got the idea for this blog after becoming a parent and realizing that although I have seven sisters of my own and had been babysitting nieces and nephews for years I had only been exposed to the basics. No book, no movie, or television show prepares you for the realities of becoming a parent and once the baby gets here there is no giving it back. So, I thought I’d find a place where I could share my realities and maybe just maybe it'd help someone else feel some a bit of comfort or at least help others feel like they’re not alone in this. Now I am not here to tell you what to do or give you any advice on how to parent. This is my life and I am doing things the way I feel best benefits myself and my daughter. |
