Introduction	So, um, hi. I'm Gemma. I blog about science, religion (and lack thereof), feminism and all the other things that make me a godless, unpatriotic, Guardian-reading pansy. When that gets too serious, I blog about being a nerd and make jokes about my dorky interests. Mansplain something to me, especially biology (especially ESPECIALLY Time Lord biology), and I will take you down in a storm of profanity and science fiction jokes. This blog can get a bit NSFW. I swear A LOT and sometimes post links to sweary comedians. Mind you, if you're interested enough to read this bit you probably don't mind.

Favorite books	Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, historical novels (especially Tudor ones), horror, fantasy/adventure, urban fantasy, anything that isn't Twilight.
