| Introduction | My name is Lily, and I initially began this blog in 2015, a time that I was a stereotypical angst-filled teenager (however, I likely still sound like an angsty teenager). For this reason, much of the work on "Lily's Letters to the World" is quite dramatic and poorly written. I have chosen to archive a majority as well as leave some of it up as it serves as a sort of journal for that time in my life. I moved across the country for college, roughly 2,000 miles from the city I call home. I returned to my hometown recently to continue my education and be with my family. I hope to attend graduate school and pursue my dream of becoming a medical social worker. My other blogs, one being, "The Most Beautiful Quotes in the World" is a web collection of my favorite quotes (forewarning, I use Tim O'Brien quotes frequently because I love his work!!). I recently began another one, titled "My Favorite Stranger I Met Today" that details the kind strangers I meet on a daily basis. Though I don't suspect anyone will follow these blogs, I love having them as an outlet to express my emotions and remember important times in my life. I hope you enjoy! |
