| Introduction | I am an Irish person and first came to La Gomera in 1999. Having lived there for about 20 years I know the island very well and started this blog during the devastating fire of 2012 as there was very little factual information in English available and to counter the false reports that were circulating while the population of La Gomera was struggling trying to deal with the aftermath. I didn't have a clue about blogging as you can see from the early posts, but over the years I learned and my blog and the interest in this beautiful island grew way beyond my expectations. I just want to share my love of La Gomera and its people and hope you'll find what you're looking for among the many posts and images you can find here. |
