Introduction	I am a humanitarian, a mathematician, a musician, an activist, and a mother. An American by birth and an honorary Zambian to those who accept me. I lived and worked in Zambia over the course of 6 years and I've been back in the US since 2011. Nyanja is only one of the more than 70 languages in Zambia. It is spoken widely in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, and understood all over Zambia, especially in Eastern province. I started this blog to help myself keep up with my Nyanja practice while inviting others to come along for the ride!
