| Introduction | I was born in Bulawayo which is the second largest city in Zimbabwe. I lived there until I had completed my high school education which comprised of "O" Level and "A" Levels. Being a British Colony they copied the British System and the papers were sent to England to be marked. Zimbabwe had a university but as they did not have an Accounting Faculty I went to university in Cape Town. There I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and then completed Articles and became a Chartered Accountant. I moved to Johannesburg to join a small accounting practice(the equivalent of a CPA practice). My partner emigrated to Australia and I ran the company for my own account until selling up and moving to the U.S.A. Here I am married and I am currently trying to secure permanent employment. I was laid off from the Arizona Department of Revenue where I was employed as a Sales Tax Field Auditor. With the new Governor the Department was downsized with over 300 employees being dismissed |
