Introduction I am a 30-something mother of a teenage daughter and an infant daughter. Lately, I've realized that parenting involves a great deal of reflection on my own childhood. Insomuch as childhood shapes one's persona and perception of the world, and that I constantly struggle with how to raise my daughters, this blog exists as a way for me to sort through it all. Vitals: *Female *Remarried *Overeducated *3 pregnancies: 2 live births, 1 miscarriage *Yes, I hope I'll be able to have more kids. *left-handed *native Floridian, 3rd generation *drive a standard *have one grandfather's eyes, and the other grandfather's name (no, not Heather, silly; my middle name).
