Introduction	Reader Representative Sheila Friedeck has worked at The Beaumont Enterprise for more than 30 years, serving as associate managing editor since 1997 and adding reader representative duties in 2002. Her role at the paper includes coordinating the newspaper's communication with readers and its response to their requests as well as continually reaching out to the community on the newspaper's behalf. She has won local, state and national writing awards and also has been honored with Hearst Newspapers' Eagle Award, the company's highest employee service honor. She and her husband, Roger, have two adult children.
