Introduction	I've started this blog to provide an informal place to share my restaurant, shopping and travel discoveries. My main focus is on the San Francisco Bay Area, but, when I travel out of the area, I report on these places as well. From 1982 until the end of 2008, I published Beverly Dubrin's Where-To-Guide, a private newsletter about dining, shopping, and travel. I also do freelance writing on similar subjects and have authored newspaper, magazine, and web articles as well as portions of San Francisco Bay Area guide books.
