| Introduction | I'm Luis Gonzalez, I'm a Miami resident and I was born in Cuba. I've been an avid lover of the natural world since a young age, with a strong love for paleontology when I was younger, but only took up birding in my last year of high school and haven't looked back since! The bird family that got my attention was originally the herons, egrets and other wading birds, but as time went on, warblers, woodpeckers and ducks fueled the passion further. I've birded around most of South Florida, and I've been able to take trips to other parts of the US and Latin America, tours to these locations will be available in the future. I'm an avid eBirder, and I love to keep a good record of my lists, photographs as many species as I can, and I encourage others to do the same!
