| Introduction | I am the mother to a beautiful son, John Cabell, who was born on Christmas Day, 2008. At the age of six months old, he was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and received the gift of a new heart on 8/26/09. We are eternally grateful to the amazing staff at Egleston Hospital in Atlanta and to the incredible, life-saving donor family who saw fit to give our son their baby's heart. |
