| Introduction | Family Health and Education (FHE) is specialized in medical, educational and health care training programmes. FHE organizes free medical camps for women and children in slum areas of Delhi. With the help of donors and more than 200 volunteers, we have reached more than 32,000 beneficiaries. We have been able to train college students, medical and nursing students, housewives and local youth. We provide weekly medical care to the women and children of Hauz Khas Village (HKV). The new project of FHE is in Mayur Vihar, Delhi. FHE provides the children and their mothers classes on sanitation, hygiene, good manners and personal development. The children themselves have been engaged in teaching their mothers in reading and writing. Also, they are given classes on cooking nutritious food and having a balanced diet. One healthy meal is provided to them each day by our friends and donors. |
