| Introduction | I have been on the fence about a mission for a long time. I was just waiting for the right opportunity to commit to the idea after I had been through life a little more. Finally this last December, I accepted the challenge by my Bishop to pray about going on a mission. One thing led to another and I found myself in the Bishop's office reading of the reasons I should go and the reasons that I shouldn't go. It became apparent very quickly that going on a mission was the right thing for me to do. I felt an sense of peace on that day that I decided to serve a mission. Since then I have felt more and more peace every day. I am placing my heart, might, mind and strength into my preparation and I hope that the Lord will utilize me as his servant in the area that I am supposed to serve. I love the Lord and I love this Gospel and I know that it is true. |
