About me

Location New York, NY
Introduction Hello. My name is Kendalle Aubra. I am an artist, a semiotech, and a cultural theorist. I come from tumultuous and unusual circumstances; a black pearl once trapped and tussled in the agony of a crippled clam. I hate it when one says, "But I'm a lover, not a fighter," because one would have to be both to be either. I believe it is my civic duty to raise hell and raze ignorance. Injustice against sentient beings makes my skin crawl. Identity is a symbol of the self. In order to maintain a connection to one's true self and not flatten into an identity, one must accept and allow a certain degree of hypocrisy. I'm a bit of a cultural bastard, which has enabled me to look at pop culture in a disentangled, disengaged way. For this I am incredibly thankful.
