| Introduction | Aloha + Welcome! I'm Maile: 30-year-old Wife, Mama, Jesus Lover, Storyteller, Designer of Spaces and Ideas, Wedding & Event Planner, and Financial Peace University (FPU) Enthusiast. Living within my means - financially, emotionally, spiritually - is both a challenge and a joy. Growing up in Hawaii on less enabled me to better recognize and cherish the beauty of this great world we live in. My desire is to cultivate authentic relationship through being vulnerable and honest in life, and reflect that in my writing. Fun tidbit: I'm often inspired by listening to catchy songs on repeat (5x or more) while dancing around with the curtains drawn. Our puppy typically finds this quite amusing. Current favorites: "Trees" by The Oh Hello's and Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)." |
| Interests | Four years ago, my interests included: water, trees, love, stories, travel, guri guri, photos, sisters, adventures, running trails, laughing, smiling, dreaming, rhyming, dressing myself, board walks, thrift stores, old school bicycles, jumping rope, writing letters! Now, in 2012, my interests include mostly the same things plus: my amazing husband Ken, cooking meals from scratch, baking bread, and pursuing what "one's calling" looks like in my life. |
