| Introduction | I am a jewellery artigiano, ceramic designer, pen & ink illustrator and vegetarian and vegan cookbook and lifestyle author. I believe that books are the soul of civilization, and I am at my happiest in the Bushveld, where the wind whispers through ancient branches; or listening to the hushed, swells of the timeless ocean. I love food and cooking, and I also love pretty things that uplift and lighten your smile, your day, or your soul, whichever is most in need of an outward boost. The solace motivated by the serenity of plants, especially trees, is a great inspiration to me, and I have a deep and abiding love for the denizens of the deeper realms, especially the Great White Shark. I am a fierce defender of the rights of these misunderstood and archaic creatures. Not to forget the darling feline species. I share my life with three of these mystical, magical beasts - Didius Cattius, Grymalkin & Mungo. I strongly believe in the right of all animals to live in peace and without fear, and I abhor cruelty, of any kind. |
