| Introduction | I'm interested in mobile and social technologies, and how people are using them to create networks around shared interests. I am also one of a rising tide of people who are getting closer to nature, growing vegetables, keeping chickens etc. Social technologies seem to be supporting and feeding this trend, allowing people to find others with shared interests, and enabling small suppliers to reach a wider pool of people eager to buy their hen houses, wormeries, ancient seed varieties etc. So, with this blog, I am joining the ranks of people who are sharing their experiences of self-sufficiency, animal husbandry etc, although a technological theme may well appear from time to time. |
